- Friends of Lac des Roches and Birch Lake
The purpose of this association is to work for the future well being of Lac des Roches and Birch Lake through environmental stewardship activities and community projects.
- Roe Lake and District Recreation Commission
The community consists of Bridge Lake, Sheridan Lake, Deka Lake, Sulphurous Lake and surrounding area. Our facilities are in the centre of this large area and are easily accessed via Highway 24, the main route between 100 Mile House and Kamloops, BC. The program events and activities held at RLDRC fulfill needs for all community members no matter the gender, age or background a person may have.
- Cariboo Regional District
The Cariboo Regional District (CRD) is responsible for providing local services such as land use planning, solid waste management, community halls, building inspections, bylaw enforcement, library services... The CRD is governed by a Board of Directors comprised of four municipal representatives (Wells, Quesnel, Williams Lake and 100 Mile Houses) and 12 rural area directors.
- Bruce Rattray, CRD Director Area ‘L’
Bridge Lake, along with Lac des Roches, Deka Lake, Sulphurous Lake, Hathaway Lake, Sheridan Lake, Green Lake, Watch Lake, Horse Lake, and Lone Butte, is part of Area ‘L’ of the Cariboo Regional District. The area is represented at the CRD Board of Directors by Bruce Rattray.

The BCLSS mission is to act as a resource, communication, and information network among scientists, environmental professionals, lakeshore residents, the general public, First Nations, and government agencies in order to preserve, protect, and restore lakes in British Columbia.

The Watershed Wealth Cooperative (WWC) is a social enterprise support system that offers certification training and franchise business opportunities which restore habitat in any local ecosystem or watershed, re-distribute wealth, and generate profits for use in community environmental stewardship.
